Terms and Conditions This document outlines the terms and conditions for tutoring services provided by Elly (Tutor) of Polymath Tutoring Pty Ltd to students undertaking private tuition. Tutoring Schedule for Term 4 (Dates: Monday 14th October - Saturday 21st December) As discussed, online tutoring will take place at the time booked. If lessons fall on pupil-free days or public holidays, they will be rescheduled at a mutually agreed time. Please leave a 15-minute gap of availability around your start and end-time – although always endeavouring to start sessions on time, sometimes they may start late due to traffic or technical failure. Cancellation and Termination Policy If Student needs to cancel a scheduled lesson, Tutor must be contacted at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson by parents/carers. Tutor may be contacted by email or by telephone, preferably both. Where adequate notice is given, we will organise a suitable make-up lesson for that same week, or the week after. The lesson fee will be forfeited if less than 24 hours’ notice is given. Any make-up lessons must be done within Term 4, 2024; unused lessons do not roll over to the next Term. Please note that a maximum of 2 sessions per term may be rescheduled due to limited availability of alternative times, unless organised with Tutor prior, and the rest are subject to discretion. Expectation for Group Lessons For any group lesson, students are to complete all relevant homework set by Tutor, and submit it by the night before at the latest with images. If Student/s does not complete the homework, and the others have, the lesson will go ahead assuming this knowledge has been revised. In order for Student to get the most out of tutoring in a group setting, this must be understood, otherwise Tutor will ask that Student try private tutoring. NB: Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions is implied upon commencement of tutoring sessions in Term 4, 2024.
